After months of preparation, I began really getting rid of stuff in July and August in preparation for a year on the road. Some things I sold, others I loaned to friends, and still others I stored at a few friends' houses. Not having a car, I transported most of the stuff on my bike trailer. Some items presented a challenge... a large, heavy, leather office chair, for example. Here's the solution I came up with!
